Teacher Training Program, A Newsbrief

In the effort to help Filipino professionals, particularly teachers who are in the United States and who are doing work other than teaching, pass the California Basic Education Skills Test and proceed for credentialing, the Migrant Resource Network and Crystal Jobs and Consulting invited Dr. Aurelio S. Agcaoili to hold a training program to address these needs.

The training was conducted for three consecutive Saturdays from October 23 through Nov. 2, 2004 in Los Angeles, California.

The CBEST training program was designed by Agcaoili and has been offered as part of the advocacy programs of many organizations in the Los Angeles area.

Agcaoili served as head trainer in "Writing the Personal and Formal Essays" and the "Reading Strategies for Comprehension."
